| How it all began... |
Mark Alexander Wakeling had a passion for perfection in furniture from an early age. Initially starting in furniture the business over 30 years ago, Mark Alexander won the ‘Top Apprentice of the Year’ award 3 years in a row, at the age of 15 years. A perfectionist at heart, Mark Alexander believed that if something is worth doing, it's worth doing properly. Below is an interview of Mark Alexander Wakeling and the Timeless Interiors story.

When did you first start your own business? |
| At the age of twenty I started my own business. Working in a small tin shed where the wind would blow through one end and out the other. |

| Being in business for over 30 years, ensured we built a network of professional partnerships within the industry. The beauty of the company today is that not only do we manufacture timber furniture but we know and have access to the best people in Australia who are perfectionists in their own right, in their chosen area of furniture |
| 4) What are your major milestones? |
| I have built 4 galleries; including the original Timeless Timber Gallery on the outskirts of Ballarat, a large homestead like building on 5 acres. I worked and lived there with the factory at the rear and the gallery display in the front. |
